Street, Portrait & Landscape Photography
Through my lens, I seek to capture the unguarded moments that reveal the profound beauty in everyday life. My work explores the intersection of humanity and environment, documenting the quiet dignity of ordinary people in their natural contexts.
Street photography, to me, is about bearing witness, preserving fleeting instances that might otherwise vanish into the fabric of time. Each photograph is an invitation to pause, to observe, and to find meaning in the margins of our collective experience.
Stevica Kuharski is a documentary and street photographer based in Zagreb, Croatia, whose work captures light, memory, and the cosmic in everyday life. His photographic vision is shaped by a unique intersection of technical precision and humanistic observation, drawing from his background as both a developer and visual storyteller.
Beyond the lens, Stevica is a Partner at Fil Rouge Capital, an early-stage venture firm with nearly 100M AUM and 160+ investments across Central and Eastern Europe. A serial entrepreneur, he has founded multiple ventures including Locodels (acquired by Croatian Post in 2019), Alamo (robotic land mowers), and Habbits. In 2012, he founded Startup Camp with support from the U.S. Embassy, a program that helped dozens of startups raise $2.2 million USD.
His work bridges the worlds of technology and art, as a self-described "closet nerd" who finds beauty in code and composition alike. Whether documenting street scenes in La Palma, architectural details in Zagreb, or intimate portraits in natural light, his photography reflects the same philosophy that guides his investment work: finding the place where opportunity meets talent, where the ordinary reveals the extraordinary.
